David Gzesh has practiced law and provided legal and advisory services to private, public and government clients since 1980, appearing before numerous US Federal Courts, federal agencies, and Nevada and other international gaming regulators. To pursue interesting emerging industries, David turned, as needed, to education in Public Policy (Univ. of Chicago, BA 1975), Law (Georgetown University Law Center, JD 1980) and Management (Yale University School of Management, MBA 1988).
In 2001, David and two friends started a successful internet poker network, which he ran as CEO, as well as a software company for which he served as a Director . After selling the poker and software businesses, David returned to full-time gaming law practice, adding a focus on blockchain technology in 2012 as its gaming industry potential became clear, for both payments and worldwide market access.
From 2013 - 2015, David organized presentations and industry panels/discussions among regulators and industry operators regarding Gaming and Blockchain Technology for numerous international industry conferences, including the 2013 Bitcoin Conference, ICE 2014, the 2014 London Affiliates Conference, Social Gaming Conference 2014 (Las Vegas) , the 2014 Bitcoin Conference (Amsterdam),ICE 2015, the 2015 iGaming SuperShow, and others.
David has practiced law in Nevada since 1993, because it is a nice place to focus on the gaming industry and your needs for broadly experienced, hands-on legal counsel. He is presently a member of the State Bar of Nevada Gaming Law Section, is admitted to practice before variety of U.S. Federal District and Courts of Appeal, and serves as an advisor to both gaming and bitcoin industry companies.
